Our Ministries

Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.  1 Peter 4:10

Through our ministries, we seek to show love and care to people in need, to provide material support to the hungry and the homeless, and to bring hope and comfort to all. Click here to read about our Fall Mission Fair.

Habitat for Humanity
We do several projects with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Providence, including a fall fundraiser dinner and regular Saturday workdays. Volunteers don’t need skills, tools, or construction experience – just sturdy shoes and a willingness to work and learn! To find out about our next Habitat for Humanity workday, contact our office at (401) 245-2218.

Christ Is Life
Our congregation partners closely with Christ Is Life Presbyterian Church in Fall River, Mass., which is pastored by Rev. Gerson Annunciacao. We raise funds to benefit the families of Christ Is Life at Thanksgiving and give gifts to the children of the church at Christmas.

Women’s Association
Our Women’s Association supports our church and our local communities in many ways. Members plan and host receptions for memorial services and other special occasions, provide meals for people who are ill or have lost a loved one, and make quilts for needy children and adults. Two members serve on the executive committee of the Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery of Southern New England. Through the Presbyterian Women, our church also participates in a number of national mission programs, such as the “Ugly Quilt” project. Ugly Quilts are handmade sleeping bags created by members of our Women’s Association and donated to Crossroads RI for distribution to homeless families and individuals.
