In gratitude to God, empowered by the Spirit, we strive to serve Christ in our daily tasks and to live holy and joyful lives
Welcome to our church
Barrington Presbyterian Church (PC-USA) is a family-oriented church with a long tradition of preaching the Gospel and providing Christian education for children and adults.
As a Presbyterian congregation we seek to meet the Great Ends of the Church as our constitution requires: to proclaim the gospel for the salvation of humankind; to shelter, nurture, and provide spiritual fellowship to the children of God; to maintain divine worship; to preserve the truth; and to exhibit the Kingdom of Heaven to the world.
Our Session is composed of the pastor as moderator and twelve elders. We have five standing committees, each of which is chaired by an elder. We also have an organist / music director & choir director, a sexton, and a church secretary.
Rev. Patrick Notley is a graduate of San Francisco Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity) and holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Presbyterian School of Christian Education. He is a candidate for Doctor of Ministry in Gospel and Culture at Columbia Theological Seminary. Before coming to Barrington, he served most recently as Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Wichita, Kansas. He is married to Kate Notley, who also holds an M.Div degree and an M.A. in Christian Education. Patrick and Kate reside in Riverside.
